Hi there, a few of us from Lincoln who not in our local scooter club are having an independent ride down to Skegness on Sunday 9th October 2011 if anyone wants to join us. We are leaving 'Modern Classics' mod cafe in Lincoln at 11am. Modern Classics is on the Strait at Lincoln and is open Sundays in case anyone wants a proper English breakfast just to line their gut and soak up Saturday nights beer maybe? You can get to the cafe up Danesgate near the the Collection museum and park outside the cafe. We will be going from Lincoln via Horncastle, Spilsby and on to Skegvegas (Skegness). Obviously we will be there a while for such as lunch etc but after that our route will take us up through Ingoldmels to Mablethorpe, accross to Louth (but that is negotiable ) and back over to Lincoln. We could always deviate through Horncastle instead. Its a really good run that will give your scooter a good blow out before you start thinking of laying it up soon. Interested? Everone welcome! Only two prerequesites. The slowest rider sets the pace and if someone breaks down we all try to help with nobody getting left stranded. See you there maybe...

Just to let you all know we made it to the IOW eventually! Then all made it back (one scooter and rider 3/4 way in a van)!!!! But all made it back safely..........we will tell you all about it next meeting

so you had better get an early nite on saturday cos it will b a long lonely ride...

Hi all, just a reminder that its our wedding on sat 16th july.As prev posted we would love to see as many scoots turn out for a brief ride round lincoln(weather permitting) after the wedding ceremony.Meeting up outside the mod cafe next to the jews house on the strait about 11.30am.
The ride will take about 30mins round the Bailgate area down through the city centre and finish at the Harrows pub in Hykeham.
There will be a knees up in the evening at the Harrows starting around 7.30ish all are welcome.catering for 100 so first come first served.
Mad dog will be providing the perfect scooterists disco.....so come and enjoy our day with us.

gary,its a good site and you do a good job updating it.i am sure we all use,although not as much as we could,so why cant we take turns in paying the 6 quid a month? there are enough of us and its only a couple of pints.perhaps hold on till next meeting and see what everyone wants to do.we could get gav to do a sponsored scooter push or see who can guess the nearest to how many pistons mark will get through this year

Lads, the website is currently costing me £5.99 a month so I have decided to reduce the bandwith down so it doesn't cost any money this will result in fewer pages and less photo's. This should come into force within 14 days so after that you will see the changes, if anyone wants it to remain the same I am open to suggestions!

Has anyone got any old Lammy Series 2 panels? After legshields, front mudgaurd and possibly side panels. Also after some drum brake fork links with the mounting pin for the shock absorbers if poss ;-)

i know i dont get to many meetings and prob wont in future bit like ska bandits in grantham so really i should think about joining a local club like plvsc then i wouldnt have to drive the 30 mile each way just to chat and look at lambrettas oh and vespa ha ha sorry gav..

Isle of Wight is now booked 26th to 29th Aug, Me, Browny & Wip are going travelling down Thursday staying in B&B thursday night then crossing in the morning staying at shanklin B&B, If anyone else is wanting to go you will need to move fast as there isnt much space left for B&B.

Lads you probably have heard that(Sally)Gavs wife is very poorly in Queens Medical Hospital,so Gav cannot make it on sunday,hopefully Rich maybe be able to find a photo of Gavs Vespa to add to the Allnighters photo shoot,just to let you know Gav we are thinking of you all at the difficult time mate.
